When you're first starting out as an online entrepreneur, your to-do list is packed with a never-ending list of things you feel are making your productive. But my question is, are you is, is it making you profitable? You might feel like you're making progress by tweaking your logo and website for the 100th time this week, but you're not.
If this is your strategy, you’re only on track to burn out. There are 3 overarching areas in your business that you should be focusing on if you want to move the needle forward and finally see $$$ in the bank.
Here's a breakdown of the 3 areas you should be focusing every day:
1. Growing your audience: You need a lead generation system in place AKA a way to grow your email list. The best and easiest way to do this is through a freebie/lead magnet that packs a quick, yet powerful win for your audience in exchange for their name and email. This is usually going to be tied to your products and services. Once you've created that, you need a way to get in front of new people every single day. To do this, you'll need a marketing strategy. I like to use a combination of free (organic) traffic from Pinterest and paid ads on Facebook.
2. Nurturing your audience: Now that you have an email list, it's time to make sure the people on it don't forget who you are! You do this by producing a weekly blog, Facebook live show, or podcast and then emailing it to your list.
3. Selling to that audience: Your job is to create no-brainer products and services to help your audience and then find a launch style that works for you. I suggest you test and tweak various launching techniques. Test and play. Find what works for you, and have fun with it.
